Mouse ( Zuleikha Robinson) si era quindi offerta volontaria come nuova assistente del giovane prete, ed entrambi avevano programmato una visita a padre Bennett ( Kurt Egyiawan), inconsapevoli del fatto che fosse posseduto e avesse ucciso almeno una persona nell'ospedale dove era stato ricoverato. Poi, in un flashforward, Marcus sentiva finalmente la voce di Dio che lo spingeva a trovare Tomas. Poco prima che il finale venisse trasmesso, il creatore Jeremy Slater ha scritto un tweet piuttosto desolato in merito alla fusione tra Fox e Disney, "orribile per una serie di motivi, e non posso immaginare che significhi buone cose per il futuro del nostro show".
